GAP - Guardian Angels Parents
Information about GAP GAP (Guardian Angel's Parents) is a volunteer and fundraising group for Guardian Angels Catholic School. Many of the events are intended to be social rather than profitable. GAP sponsors many different projects throughout the school year, and relies on parent volunteers to make them successful. All of the programs that help make our school run so smoothly are looking for people just like you. Each event has a chairperson or co-chairs and needs volunteers to make the event possible. If you have any questions about an event, you are welcome to phone the chair of that program to get more information. You will find a brief description of each event on this page.
Our GAP group holds monthly meetings that are noted on the school calendar. If you are interested in knowing what is happening at our school, these meetings are for you! A principal's report is given to the group with both current information and future plans for the school. Much of the information about events and programs for our children is discussed at these meetings. We would love for you to join us. You can explore ways to become involved or merely learn about what is happening at GA.
GAP Guidelines Any item to be discussed at the meeting shall be put on the agenda. This may be done by submitting the item to the GAP President one week prior to the meeting. The person submitting the item will present it at the meeting and a short discussion will follow. Recommendations will then be given to the proper person or committee. We also have an "open discussion" section on our monthly agenda.
Distribution of all funds raised by GAP will be done with the recommendation of the principal. Any ideas that are directly related to the welfare of our children in the whole education process of home and school will be taken into consideration.

GAP is also involved in activities that are a part of our school community.

Parent volunteers are needed to collect, distribute and sort SCRIP orders each week. This service is a fundraiser which benefits your own tuition account. Many families save LOTS of money by using SCRIP.

Day: This is both a fundraiser and a service to GA families. Market Day is a frozen and packaged food service that delivers the food to the school once each month. Order forms are sent in the children's backpacks or parents may order on-line. High quality meats, vegetables, entrees and desserts are just a few of the items offered in each sale.
