Celebrating our Faith
The mission of Guardian Angels School states that we "...proclaim Jesus Christ through sacraments and prayer." This is evidenced daily. Our students are active participants in the Masses at Guardian Angels Catholic Church as altar servers, lectors, cantors, and gift bearers. We pray together as a school community each morning and with our individual classes before lunch and at the end of the school day. Our prayer life is an integral part of our academic life.
Here at Guardian Angels School, students are taught to love one another. This is done by emphasizing the necessity of respecting all in our building. This respect is the flower that springs from the vine of a Christian heart where love and service are nurtured. In addition to serving one another through kind words and actions, Guardian Angels students are also taught to look to the world that exists beyond our school walls. Guardian Angels students engage in a myriad of service projects that include food and clothing drives for St. Vincent de Paul, the Toys for Tots program, making cards for armed forces personnel serving overseas, and baking brownies for veterans here at home. Students also participate in the annual Be The Difference Day (a program where students volunteer in various ways in the local community), as well as working with the clients at Mary's Children (a day care center for adults with brain injuries.) These opportunities help our students live out their call of service to those with various needs and challenges.
