Our families saved over $23,500 in tuition last year with the SCRIP program. SCRIP is substitute money or gift certificates that are used like cash at many of the retailers you now patronize. Great Lakes Scrip Center acts on behalf of churches, schools, and other non-profit organizations to purchase large amounts of SCRIP from grocery stores, department stores, and other retailers. Because SCRIP is purchased with cash up front, the participating retailers offer a discount to the participating organization. The discounts are returned to the non-profit organization as revenue. This year, $1.00 per order is used to cover expenses for the operation of the program. The remaining revenue is applied as a credit directly to your tuituion account.

SCRIP IS NOT A FUNDRAISER. It is a different way to shop using SCRIP gift certificates instead of cash. It costs nothing extra for the family to participate since many weekly essentials can be paid using SCRIP gift certificates instead of cash, check, or charge at your favorite stores. Each time you purchase SCRIP, a percentage, less $1.00 is credited to your tuition account.

We are excited by the possibility of families being directly assisted with their tuition through the credits earned from the SCRIP program. With a little planning for shopping expenditures, this program can have an impact on your tuition account. They make great gifts for birthdays or Christmas!
